PMF Results Open Thread
Did you take the Presidential Management Fellowship assessment for 2009? Are you waiting on the results? Did you get your results? According to the PMF news site, results started going out on March 5, 2009 at 9:00 PM EST. If you’re searching around for PMF info and come across this, share your story. I’m curious how long it will take them to send out the approximately 4,200 emails to notify us whether we were one of 786 finalists?

[Update 9/3/09: It looks like people are finding their way back to this thread, which can really only mean two things. First, PMF season is upon us (opening October 1-15), and second, schools have already announced the program to their graduate students. If you are a graduate student who is interested in more information about the PMF program, I did write a recent post outlining the PMF Program for 2010 applicants and how to apply. I would recommend that over this old thread, unless you're just curious about what happened during the results portion of 2009's process. If you want lots of information about the program including masses of anecdotal responses, stick to this thread or browse the PMF category on the WordPress site (most of the links are back to my various postings).]
@AA: Perhaps you’ve already tried their web sites for more info, but just in case you haven’t, here they are.

I would contact the PMF coordinators, though. I have only seen one posting so far for State, and I don’t remember seeing any with USAID.

Is anyone familiar with the PMF application process for agencies such as the State Department or USAID?

@DidntGetIn: According to the program guidelines, you need to have completed a Master’s degree or above by August of the class year you are applying for. Since I will complete my MS in May 2009, I am eligible for the program.

Didn’t you need your Masters Degree to apply as a PMF?
